1 Thessalonians 4:9-12
Apparently, the teaching of the 2nd Coming had caused an awkward situation in Thessalonica. Many had quit their jobs and were standing around waiting for Jesus to return.
Yes, all things will change when Jesus comes again, but until that happens, we are to go about our daily tasks with diligence.
