Spirituality is at an all-time high in one sense. Traditional religious groups claim membership in the billions.
In another sense, spirituality doesn’t seem to be making a difference in our lives. We live in a broken world. Hatred and violence are escalating by the minute.
What does it mean to be spiritual? This is the question we will consider over the next six weeks.
Some assert there are many paths to God. How can one religion claim to be the only one that leads to God? Is it possible to honor the opinions of those who believe differently from us?
Spirituality is not just a concept. It’s a way of life. Let’s live this spiritual life together.

HUNGER & THIRST: A SPIRITUAL LONGING
Week 1: Spirituality Defined
Monday
Deuteronomy 6:4-6
How do you picture a spiritual person? Someone who is a little strange or out of touch? Then again, you may view a spiritual person as someone who is holy or beyond your reach. Neither is true. This week, we will look to the one who is the best example of what a spiritual person looks like—Jesus.
