Matthew 2:1-11

The day after Christmas. The presents are unwrapped; food leftovers are in the refrigerator.

For Mary and Joseph, Jesus’ birth was the beginning of a life filled with adventure, celebration, and wonder. Imagine their amazement when Magi from a far-east country arrived at their door wanting to worship Jesus and bringing gifts fit for a king. I can almost hear Mary & Joseph saying after the visit, “How did they know about God’s special baby? Who told them? What was that star they spoke about?”

Now that Christmas 2019 is in the rear view mirror, how will you continue to worship the Christ-child? What gift(s) do you bring? How are you amazed at what Jesus has done and is doing in your life?
