John 13:1-9

Do you remember growing up and being told it was time to go to “Worship,” so you need to put on your “Sunday Best”? In a recent article by Pastor David Cassidy, he addresses this idea of what we do to worship. Pastor David suggests true worship happens not based on what we do for God (“Sunday Best”), but rather what he does for us. One of the most beautiful moments of all Scripture happens when Jesus washes the feet of the disciples. In 13:4, we see that worship begins not with our dressing up, but rather with Jesus stripping down. Pastor Cassidy states that worship is not what we do or bring, but rather is a fresh encounter with what God has done in Christ. To read the entire article, go to
