Saturday
1 Corinthians 11:23-28
Take a look back at the passages we have read this week. Do you notice a pattern? In every instance, the Scriptures tell us:
Jesus took the bread.
Jesus blessed the bread.
Jesus broke the bread.
Jesus gave the bread.
We will do these very things tomorrow.
We will take the bread and remember Jesus provided his own life so we might live.
We will bless the bread and thank God for sending Jesus.
We will break the bread and as we hear the sound of this breaking, remember his body broken for us.
We will give the bread to one another and remember our mandate to share the Gospel with everyone.
