I’ll Be Home for Christmas
In the popular Bing Crosby Christmas classic, I’ll Be Home for Christmas, we see an overseas WWII soldier writing a letter to his family, longing to be home for Christmas. In this Micah 5 passage, we are reminded that our expectation and longing will be fulfilled through the birth of one from Bethlehem. Read 5:4-5 again. What does this mean to you right now? Thank God, that in the midst of battles and wars, we have a Savior who has come to BE our peace.
