Psalm 117; John 11:35

Sometimes shorter is better. We love short sermons. We love it when people get right to the point.

Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible. In two verses, it says the same thing the longest chapter in the Bible says—Psalm 119 (176 verses). The message is simple—be thankful because God’s love and truth last forever.

The shortest verse in the Bible contains two words—Jesus wept. He wept at the grave of his friend, Lazarus. Jesus cared, and still does, for you and me.

As we begin the Christmas season tomorrow, be thankful and be caring.
