1 Thessalonians 5:18
How many times have I said, "I just want to know what God's will is for my life?" This is a popular question among teenagers and college students as they dream about and discover the next chapter in their journey. It is sometimes difficult to know exactly where God wants us to go to school, what he wants us to study, and which job he wants us to accept. Sometimes several options seem right and good, and we do not know how to discern his will. But there are some verses in the Bible that clearly spell out the will of God. This verse is one. If you read the verses preceding and following, you will find that all of these have to do with how to live as Christ-followers. We are to be thankful. God's will is for us to be thankful. How will we live out his will for our lives this day?
