The Reproducible Process

2 Corinthians 5:18-6:2

Contemplate this question: Does salvation take place in a moment or in a series of moments? Scripture says: “Today is the day of salvation.” That means we have been saved AND we are being saved. But that’s not all this passage means. It means that today is the day God has given us the opportunity to be his ambassadors—his messengers—to literally implore or beg by our words and actions that people will be reconciled to God. In 2 Corinthians 6:1, Paul urges all Christ-followers not to receive God’s grace in vain. Disciples RECEIVE the grace of God to GIVE the grace of God. Disciples make disciples. How about you? Have you received God’s grace in salvation? Have you given God’s grace by making disciples? Either way, today’s the day!
