James 1:16-21

When packing boxes for a move, our most prized and delicate possessions are labeled “fragile, handle with care.”

Our fellow humans are the prized possessions of God. He loves each of us deeply, desiring everyone to be treated with gentleness and the utmost care.

This gentleness comes across in our actions and interactions with others. Gentleness chooses to listen and respond calmly in every situation.

How is human anger contrary to the gentleness God desires from us? Toward whom do you have a hard time listening to and responding slowly? Pray for that person now and ask God to give you a gentle spirit when you are around him or her.
