Daniel 9:1-6

An intercessor is one who intermediates between two parties and acts as a go-between. Daniel took on the role of intercessor for Israel. He identified himself with them through his confession of sin on their behalf. He served as an intercessor between Israel and God. Sound familiar? This is what Jesus did for us through his redemptive work on the cross. Jesus didn’t deserve the penalty for our sin, yet he acted on our behalf to pay the penalty for it.

How can we intercede for those around us?
