Genesis 24:10-27

As Abraham prepares for his passing, he assigns his oldest and most trusted servant the task of finding his son, Isaac, a wife. Abraham instructs this unnamed employee to go to Abraham’s homeland to find a bride among his relatives.

Abraham’s servant demonstrates great faith in God’s guidance, possibly the result of observing his master in action. The servant chose to take the responsibility bestowed on him by his master seriously. When given a task or responsibility by anyone with authority over you, do you choose to do your best or just enough to get by?
