“Love does not Brag and is not Arrogant”

1 Corinthians 4:18-21

Boasting and arrogance are usually connected to speech. The Corinthian congregation judged a person’s worth and power by their ability to move the masses with their words.

A person can have great speaking skills and very little power when it comes to the things that count. Like what things? Insincere words spoken with emotion will be seen for what they really are—insincere words. But the love of God spoken in broken English will change lives.
