Isaiah 37:14-25

Did you notice what Hezekiah did with that threatening letter he received from the enemy? He took it to church (the temple) and “spread it out” before the Lord (37:14). In his prayer, Hezekiah tells God what he knows to be true (37:16, 18, 19) and asks for God’s glory in this confrontation (37:20).

When is the last time you took whatever threat from the enemy you were facing and “spread it out” before God? When you take your problems to the Lord, are you just seeking your own safety and deliverance, or are you thinking about a larger good that can come from this situation…and asking for GOD to be glorified (37:20)?
