For churches all across the world, this is the greatest and most important time of the year. Over the next few days, you and I will have the opportunity to experience and remember Jesus Christ’s last steps toward the cross as he journeyed down the Via Dolorosa. Our Stations of the Cross Maundy Thursday service will provide a very meaningful time of worship and remembrance. This special service begins promptly at 7pm. Participants are
encouraged to be here at 6:45pm to allow time to prepare for this meaningful experience. Then on Saturday, we will come back together to share the love of Jesus with our community through our 2nd annual Spring Chicken Fest. This is going to be a fantastic event for family, friends and guests. Some of the features include a 5K, 1-mile Fun Run, HELICOPTER EGG DROP, Peddler Booths, Bounce Houses, Food Trucks and lots more! This is a great event for you to invite someone to attend with you.
AND then on Sunday, we will come together to celebrate the single greatest event that changed all of history, the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have been working many weeks to make sure that everything is prepared for this special day. I pray that you will invite someone to join you in celebrating our risen Lord and Savior. Choirs, orchestra, bands, singers, Bible Study teachers, ushers, and your FBC staff are ready for an exciting day of worship and fellowship. Plan to be with us in one of our Easter Celebration services at 9:30am and 11am.
