Matthew 2:1-12
O Come All Ye Faithful

Come and behold Him,
Born the King of angels;
O come, let us adore Him,

The wise men journeyed to find “he who has been born king of the Jews,” Matthew 2:2, and upon finding him “they fell down and worshiped him,” Matthew 2:11. Just like the wise men, our journey towards celebrating Christmas is leading us to one glorious conclusion. Our preparation in understanding what, why, and who we celebrate lays a solid foundation from which our worship and adoration for Jesus Christ flows. He is Immanuel, God with us. “Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father,” Philippians 2:9-11 (ESV).
