2012 is coming to a close and it is almost time to begin a new year. Before we jump ahead to making New Year’s resolutions and making plans for tomorrow, let’s take time to evaluate 2012 and our personal relationship with Christ today. For the closing days of the year, we will look at the closing remarks from several of Paul’s letters to believers. May God equip and encourage you to finish well in 2012. There is no better way to start well than to first, finish strong.
December 27—Colossians 4:12-18
Epaphras was a key figure in the life of the Colossian church and his earnest prayers are proof of his great love and deep concern for these people. Take time today to pray earnestly and deeply for your church. Lift up names of Bible Study teachers and members, friends, and co-servants. Make these prayers a labor of love on behalf of your church family.
