Manger - Luke 2:1-7; 15-20

God broke through the barrier of humanity and became one of us. The word, “Immanuel,” means “God with us.” This is the thinnest of all “thin places.” Everything pointed to the baby in the manger—the angels, the shepherds, even the village of Bethlehem.

With eyes of faith, we know what this event means. It is our salvation. Jesus was placed in a manger at his birth. This manger was replaced with a cross.

If you have a Nativity in your home, pick up the manger. Hold it up and give thanks for your salvation.
