This verse tells us God doesn’t live in the realm of time. Both history and the future are laid out before him. Imagine God’s delight as he hears our prayers and as he cries with us in our desperation, all the while waiting to surprise us with the unexpected, more-than-we-could-ask-for-or-imagine answer. The fullness of time is reserved for God’s best surprises. Today, thank God that he is the Perfect Parent, that his “no,” “yes,” and “wait” answers are for our best. Thank him in advance for the surprises he has waiting for you.
As you pray today, please lift up the orchestra and the Orchestra Coordinator, Elizabeth Bowen, as they prepare for Sounds of Christmas tomorrow and Saturday.
