Revelation 7:13-17

Trials and difficult times will come to those that follow Jesus. But, as Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:18, all authority in Heaven and earth belongs to him, and in Matthew 28:20, he promises to be with us. We do not have to fear persecution, or hard times, or even death because in all things Jesus is with us. That fact should give us confidence in the times of trouble that are sure to come.

The people in white at the throne are shepherded by the Good Shepherd and have no need to be afraid. To fulfill the Great Commission is to go and make disciples in the knowledge that in all things God is good and he is shepherding us.

Commit today to focus on Jesus as being with you regardless of your circumstances in this new year.
