Trusting God

Monday
Romans 8:14-17

I miss my daddy. Today would have been his 89th birthday. He wasn’t a perfect parent, but I never doubted he loved me. I remember when I was a little girl, he would lie on his back and balance me on his knees, raising my feet as I squealed in mock-fear and delight. I trusted him not to drop me. And I trusted that if I did wiggle and fall, he would catch me in his strong, loving arms. I still have a Father like that. Do you?
