Psalm 103:1-22

All too often we forget to thank God for all the things he has done for us. Nothing illustrates this more than the story of Jesus healing the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19. Only one remembered and “turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, and he fell on his face at his feet, giving thanks to him.” Jewish custom not only requires them to give thanks before a meal, but after it as well. At least 14 times in the book of Deuteronomy, Moses admonished the people to remember the Lord and what he did for them, and nine times he cautioned them not to forget. It was when the third generation of Jews came on the scene and forgot the Lord that the nation began to decay.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to remind you to give thanks to God throughout the day, week, month, and year for all he is doing in your life. Be the ONE out of ten.
